Chicago Climate and Weather
Okay, I’ll come clean. If you’re considering a move here, Chicago weather may not be our strong suit. Because of Lake Michigan (an ocean-really), it’s common for there to be signifigant weather differentials between the city and the western suburbs (even though it’s just 20 miles away). Chicago is called the Windy City for a reason. Given that it’s less windy in the western suburbs, we have fewer bad hair days here.
