The villages in the near western suburbs are generally small. By comparison, Clarendon Hills is microscopic. The entire town is serviced by two elementary schools (which are in the highly touted Hinsdale District 181, by the way). "Walk to" is a way of life. There's a gorgeous downtown business district and Metra train station (about 25 minutes into downtown Chicago).
