Clarendon Hills
While all of the best near Western Suburbs are extremely small villages, by comparison, Clarendon Hills can best be described as microscopic. Those who live here would not have it any other way. This town of 8,000 people is located immediately west of Hinsdale and shares the same impressive public school system. This district consistently ranks in the top of all schools in Illinois.
There are three general neighborhoods in Clarendon Hills. The Walker Grade School section is situated south of the Burlington-Northern/Santa Fe railroad tracks and offers walk to town convenience. The same is true of the Prospect Grade School section, which is located just north of the railroad tracks. The third section is situated north of Chicago Avenue and offers larger, deeper lots, some of which border the exclusive Hinsdale Golf Club.
This is an extremely family-oriented town, where many families enjoy the local pool and the “Dancin’ In The Streets” event held every Tuesday night throughout the summer.
